RINGFEDER GEAR COUPLINGS TNZ ZCA / ZCB

DESCRIPTION: The Ringfeder TNZ ZCA-ZCB coupling is a torsionally stiff gear coupling with a certain backlash. It compensates for angular, parallel and axial shaft misalignments within defined ranges. Parallel shaft offset can only be compensated by the double engagement design with two toothing planes. The coupling transmits the torque via hubs with crowned gear teeth which are in permanent mesh with the straight gear teeth of the sleeves.

Torsionally rigid and low-backlash gear couplings of the RINGFEDER® TNZ series – former TSCHAN® TNZ and POSIFLEX® – are made of high-strength steel and are proving themselves worldwide in all industrial sectors where extraordinarily high torques must be transmitted from shaft to shaft. These include particularly heavy-duty applications, e.g. in the direct drive of conveyor systems, mixers, rolling mills or roller tables. As flexible shaft connections, our RINGFEDER® Gear Couplings transmit the torque positively by means of hubs with crowned teeth, which are constantly in mesh with the straight-toothed tooth sleeves. They are characterized by extremely high power densities and, depending on the coupling variant, are also suitable for the effective compensation of axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments. Thanks to high-quality grease lubrication with ultra-high pressure additives, minimum restoring forces are achieved and thus a reliable, almost wear-free operation is guaranteed. Our unique modular system offers users maximum flexibility in the assembly of precisely fitting coupling designs – suitable components, e.g. brake discs or drums and torsion shafts, can be adapted to suit specific requirements.

Parallel shaft offset can only be compensated by the double engagement design with two toothing planes. The coupling transmits the torque via hubs with crowned gear teeth which are in permanent mesh with the straight gear teeth of the sleeves. There must be a certain gear tooth circumferential clearance in order to compensate misalignments of the connected machines. The coupling is suitable for horizontal installation in each direction of rotation..
