POLY-NORM AZR shaft couplings are characterized by a compact design. The torque is transmitted via elastomers between the cams also serving to offset displacements and dampen shocks and torsional vibrations.

Applications of our torsionally flexible, fail-safe shaft couplings:
POLY-NORM AZR shaft couplings are used in almost all fields of mechanical engineering, here mainly in the pump industry (pump coupling).

Operation of fail-safe shaft coupling:
The POLY-NORM shaft coupling consists of two hubs half the cams of which are each inserted in the tailor-made free spaces of the other hub.

This compact design of the shaft coupling allows to connect the shafts with a particularly short shaft distance dimension. The elastomer positioned between the cams transmits the torques while compensating for any kind of displacement.

Variation of components of fail-safe shaft coupling:
High adaptability with low variance through an optimally differentiated construction kit system: The elements within one size of POLY-NORM AZR shaft coupling can easily be combined with each other. This allows to realize various shaft distances with the same basic component.
