DESCRIPTION: POLY-NORM® ADR-BTA shaft coupling with brake drum Shaft coupling with brake drum The torsionally flexible shaft coupling POLY-NORM® ADR-BTA is a shaft coupling provided with a brake drum based on the plant. The POLY-NORM type ADR-BTA is intended as a holding brake. Please note with combinations of shaft coupling with brake drum the high circumferential speed that may result. With high-speed drives KTR recommends dynamic balancing from 30m/s. The brake drum is positioned on the driven side where the highest mass moment of inertia is effective.

The torsionally flexible shaft coupling POLY-NORM ADR-BTA is a shaft coupling provided with a brake drum based on the plant. The POLY-NORM type ADR-BTA is intended as a holding brake.

This
POLY-NORM ADR-BTA combination of coupling and brake is used wherever holding brakes are required, e. g. on conveyor belts and generators. Applications with minor specifications can be combined with POLY-NORM GJL hubs.

Our customers benefit from being supplied from one single source. There is the option to develop the brake as well. Our brakes are available hydraulically (KTR-STOP) or electromechanically (EMB-STOP) activated
